Arrival in Prague
If you let us know a week in advance when you’re arriving in Prague, we’ll be happy to pick you up and take you to your accommodation. We will also give you a welcome pack which includes a map of Prague, a brief on the city transport, bus tickets, a description of the main tourist sites and your course programme.
Most of our students arrive in Prague by air. Václav Havel Airport in Prague is a modern international airport which meets European quality standards. After your arrival and passing through immigration you will enter the arrivals zone of the airport. There are two terminals in Prague for international flights—one for flights from Schengen Zone countries and one for flights from all other countries. The airport is comfortably laid out and well signed so it is easy to find your way around. When you let us know your flight details we will make sure that a school representative is on hand to welcome you when you arrive.
Prague is also easy to reach by train or bus. International trains arrive at the Main Station—Praha Hlavní Nádraží and buses arrive at Praha Florenc bus station. Both of these stations are in the centre of the town and we can arrange to meet you at either when you send us your travel details.
We can also send you a detailed map and route instructions showing you how to get to the Live TEFL premises.
